Lis Jiangnan Lin-statement

In a life stage full of confusion and anxieties, it seems hard for young people to figure out where to go and what they want. ‘Why do my parents have so many expectations from me?’ ‘I don't know what I want'. To avoid those questions, maybe running into dreams is the best solution. But in subconsciousness, anxieties still haunt dreams.

'Who Puts A Fishbowl Here?' is a record of a journey exploring inner consciousness through dreams.

'Who Puts A Fishbowl Here?' records the self-exploration journey of a girl in her early 20s. It contains her thoughts on relationships (mainly parent-child relationships) and self-consciousness.

In the beginning, their parents show their high expectations of the girl, which made her feel anxious. She escaped into her dreams to avoid thinking of reality, but in her subconsciousness anxieties and fears still haunt her. With the help of a dog in her dream, she finally gained the courage to go on her self-exploration journey.

OCEAN ROOM

OCEAN ROOM is a dialogue about the dream and related fields.

Are we able to catch vibrations/ messages from the universe through dreams? What is the boundary between dreams and reality? What is reality? Is reality an instant memory? … In this dialogue, guests and Lis Lin discussed some of these questions.

On this page is the 3 mins trailer of dialogue, if interested please visit https://youtu.be/czrbaeC8iVw for a full-length video.
