Yue Teng

Yue Teng was born in Guanghan, Province Sichuan in China in 1995. She graduated from Dalian University of Science and Technology and studied animation for a BA and now she is pursuing a Master's degree at the Royal College of Art. When she was studying animation as an undergraduate, she learned various animation softwares and focused on narrative animation.

Her graduate work named LINE gained the Excellent Works Award in the 18th Animation Academy Awards of BFA.

Yue Teng is a 2D animator. Life is the source of her inspiration. Her works are basically derived from her perception of life. Among other things, she is very interested in the emotions she experiences in life, and is good at capturing and experiencing these as she explored them in her many projects. She is skilled in working in 2D and has experimented with a number of materials, and she is mainly working with computer graphics in her final project animation.

It Won't Bite-Trailer

The film It Won’t Bite is about fear and loneliness. I want to express my feelings when I am confronted with my fears and my friends comfort me. Through the different states of life of the people upstairs at the same time, I realised that I was alone and people cannot empathise with each other.
