In a speculative virtual future everyone wants to live perfectly. However there is no “perfect”. Mirrors used to be the direct reflection of yourself. Like the evil queen of the tale of the Grimm Brothers, we expect that the mirror reflects the picture we want to have of ourselves. When it comes to true beauty, the golden ratio face shows up. When it comes to true love, the Mechanical love will never betray you. How can we maintain ourselves in this world struggling with overwhelming AI and machines? I want you to get your answers in the world that I create.

My works revolve around the long and complex struggle between humanity and Artificial Intelligence. It’s not just ideas of post-humanism, trans-humanism or non-humanism that are interesting to me. It’s the relationship between future humans, artificial intelligence, beauty and love. I use allegorical narratives to produce virtual spaces. Using surround sound design I map virtual places onto existing contexts through sci-fi methodologies and accompanying visuals.

In the film Love Land where machines have the capacity for love and suffering, they gain the perception of beauty in the Filter Lake using the metaphor of the mirror. In the Filter Lake, the machine will step into the mirror to change its face, and many of the same faces are in the bottom of the lake, as a metaphor for the increasing number of same “plastic faces” and over-beautified pictures. “Some of them have no face”, they may lose themselves at the end. It is worthwhile to think about what beauty really is, and why our aesthetics are assimilating to the algorithmic trick, step by step.

My second audio film, Filter Lake 湖, is a 5.1 surround sound experience. Filter Lake tells the story of Future artificial intelligence imitates humans beautifying themselves. Set on a future fantastical lake with Mechanical palm trees and central algorithmic mirror, Filter Lake revolves around the human 'keep beautifying themselves' in a long and complex struggle between humanity and Artificial Intelligence.

Love Land is a virtual place that amplifies human senses through an immersive experience of darkness and surround sound. Love Land attempts to expose the opposite of human love from a mechanical perspective.

Love Land – Use headphones to enjoy Love Land. Hint: 1. The loss of heartbeat is a metaphor for the assimilation of artificial love. 2. The potential trigger condition is the acceptance of kiss with machine and the lift will free fall into the heart of the earth 3.The metaphor of humans being loved by the machine when they completely lose their heartbeat. 4.“there is no basement in the love land”x“free fall into the basement”make a contract.
