My work is engaged with passages of moments after moments, capturing the sensation of transience within a mood which is often vague and undefined. There is something evasive about this as if there is something which cannot be completed because it resides outside of intention. Observations and contingent imaginations of things and objects surrounding the ordinary are composed in an uncanny state. They are encountered, intertwined, blended and turned into something - like clues leading to questions of everyday life.
Painting is not the result of a clear method presenting an empty road ahead but is instead a becoming born out of a sense of what lies before and beyond the inscriptive insistence of signification. In this way - painting emerges out of itself only to return to itself as if coupling vision with the void of not-knowing.
