Statement
I am interested in the intersection points between capitalism-induced desire, materialism, sensation, theoretical movements, social mores, religious beliefs and moral values; how we make judgements about the types of pleasure available to us and how those judgements affect the way we seek or eschew Hedonism in our lives.
Playground of the Rich
I have been working in ceramics as a medium for the three dimensional physicalisation of the incessant stream of hedonism I receive from the media. The moulding of the statues allows me to mediate my imagined version of the portrayed event into a new physical being.
Medium: Ceramics
