Jinglun Zhou is a mixed media artist, with a focus on strong texture and personal identity through experimental material combinations.
Taking ‘Contradiction' as his design philosophy, Jinglun explored the contradiction of materialism and idealism throughout his MA, exploring a range of fields including art, space, and the internet.
Jinglun graduated from the Shanghai Institution of Visual Art with a BA in Fashion Design, where he discovered his passion for textiles and materials. He took a gap year to work in an interior design studio, MHPD, where he worked on projects in collaboration with brands like Tom Dixon, Gucci and Mason Margiela. The artwork ‘Fountain’ he was in charge of during his internship was invited to be shown at Beijing Design Exhibition.
