Statement

Having developed her practice through the Narrative Pathway during her time in the Royal College of Art, Rachel’s work explores the art of storytelling through complex narrative models. Much of her work investigates the human psyche, and through her animation, she explores the subtle hidden complexities of the human experience.

Rachel explores universal themes of morality through a more absurd and insular lens, walking the tightrope of realism and surrealism, the mundane and the heightened.

Her work situates itself in a space where comedy and pain live together.
