Yang Liu-statement

In the "Attention Economy", social media uses many design mechanisms to attract attention. For example, the unknown and endless information flow of Instagram, the social attributes built by Tiktok; Netflix's continuous play, etc. These mechanisms make people more addicted, but there are two sides to things. Would it be beneficial if these mechanisms were used in other industries?

My project uses traditional media books as the medium, trying to introduce new media mechanisms to make reading more interesting, such as using new interactive methods to improve the reading experience, building a social circle based on physical objects, and so on.

This is a set of books, which can be seen as a kind of training to guide the user back from the phone to the book.
