acraneyihe is an inter-disciplinary designer & innovator. He developed his design thinking and identity through his BEng(Industrial Design) and MA(Design Products). Working with tangible, fashionable and practical objects is what he has great enthusiasm for. By rethinking the normal circumstances, acraneyihe generates innovative ideas and makes models iteratively, which helps his project not only as a problem solver but work at the forefront of design specialism.

Rethinking is the core value of acraneyihe's design identity. He considers his design practice a combination of questioning, observing, experimenting and validating.

Context is everything, acraneyihe is curious about how can design reflect and respond to an unnoticeable signal(news/behaviours/products/services/etc...) and create a positive and practical impact.

acraneyihe's practice aims to shape an industry by redesigning or creating the system. A better(for each stakeholder) system can shape the capitalist society and challenge our understanding of how everything connects.

The stitchless system introduces a way of making garments and accessories. By replacing the thread with a reusable interlock structure, the garments can be upgradeable, repairable, customizable and easier to disassemble for better recycling. When the customers assemble their garments, they will gain strong ownership of the products, making them last longer.
