Yuying Guo

Originally from China and now based in London, Yuying Guo is a multi-disciplinary designer and artist who enjoys developing and enriching her thematic collections through the use of a variety of methods including pattern design, colour interaction, material exploration, stitches combination and more.

She wants to explore whimsical and fantastical ways to draw her audience into her storytelling world and make them feel the wonderfully overwhelming charm of life.

During her MA in Mixed Media at the Royal College of Art her curiosity in different fields has encouraged her to experiment with many possibilities in the virtual world and to integrate the textile approach into the digital 3D space. She tries to create a narrative of surreal possibilities alongside her own visual identity.

It is an Immersive Gallery Experience of a journey in the imaginative mind. Developed from some whimsical ideas and sketches from my visits to the gallery in daily life, this virtual multi-dimensional gallery is constructed through colours, patterns, shapes, simulated stitches, and multiple materials.

Follow me into a colourful world of different styles' spatial experiences, unique exhibition formats, and multi-sensory art feasts. A brief escape from the conventional human real world to a giant utopia. Perfect for children to explore, pique their curiosity and inspire creativity.

Use PC or VR to immerse audiences in the fantastic world of an art wonderland, enhancing the sense of presence and realism while allowing the viewer to interact with the scene's content. Create your avatar generating another new connectivity between people, interactive conversations and videos in real-time with friends, and exploring new worlds of imagination together.
