Yihan is a mixed-media textile artist based in London and Hangzhou, China. During the four years at the China Academy of Art and two years at the Royal College of Art, she has developed a passion for creating installations for multiple spaces.
The creative content of Yihan’s works is based on Oriental aesthetics which involves research into the eastern gardens, Asian philosophy, time, and memory. Her works explore the relationship between installations and culture, which are dedicated to constructing the dialogue and atmosphere of the space. She also aims to re-shape the tradition in the modern world through innovative expression.
Through profound practice, Yihan's collections have received great attention and won several prizes. Her projects have been presented at exhibitions and museums globally, including Shanghai Fashion Week 2021, YUE SAI 30th Artist Collaboration, China National Public Scholarship, etc.
