Feeling that intimacy is fading in the real world, Jiezhen Huang hopes to show the power of intimacy through fashion and encourage people to establish and maintain intimate relationships
My works mainly focus on exploring the impact of social changes brought about by technological development on people's communication and intimacy.
My work has two stages
The first stage：I blamed the Internet for the decline of intimacy, because it dissolves real space and the opportunity for people to communicate face to face, and make someone into the virtual world of Internet construction has become an island.I realized that I had a strong desire to connect with people, to create a strong connection to counter that isolation.
The second stage： I let go of my prejudice against the Internet，I realized that people's concern for each other is the key to intimacy. No matter how close we are, there will be no intimacy without caring for each other.
By contrast, as long as we care about each other, even if we're on opposite sides of the globe, the power of intimacy can use the Internet to break down the boundaries of time and space, provide us with invisible support, and become armor that can protect us. This gives us a sense of reality even in the virtual world, turning the "island" into a “land”.
