FASHION+ RCA22 look to engineer, develop, and act, alongside & interweave about design. They make sound visual, disintegrate the silhouette, explore philosophically our identities, our representation, our resonance, look to build bridges between worlds of age, ablism, race and gender, question our emotional values and demand new aesthetics, relate to the effects of post migration, collaborate, collate, and collect both visible and invisible materiality, with new tools and ancient touch .
They sit on the edge, that complex arena where it is only the courage of a few who can lead and I see today that here in FASHION they believe in that space... that they know they can and will.
I want to put across that I’m just
a person searching for an answer.
The search is the work
and the work is constantly rearranging
the furniture inside my own head.
