Looking at a familiar object from a different angle will produce a new feeling, which is different from finding a new object, because this feeling is based on the audience's existing knowledge of this object. “A new understanding with roots”, I liken this understanding of known things to past experiences, and the new feelings generated by looking at different angles to the process of rediscovering identity.

That's why I want to give a new sense of mystery to familiar shapes that seem to tell an abstract story, but one that is relevant to my life.

Contemporary technical clothing is designed for multiple purposes, they solve the needs of people in the city or in the wild. but only as a tool, as a garment when it lost its temperature it will as cold as a machine.

I bring Asian culture and religion into the existing elements in the modern technical wear and deconstruct the existing elements to give functions parts more mystery and unfamiliar feeling.

The core idea of the project represents the sense of low presence, fringe , and mystery showing in the community.

I choose the hoodie as the main carrier, to use the hood to de-identify and remove humans' most important identification which is the face.

I create a sense of mystery by making familiar objects into an unfamiliar or new version.

And build the aesthetic of mystery by representing Asian religious elements based on functional tech wear aesthetic.

Bring the culture back to the garment, bring the temperature back to the cloth.
